Tile and AirTag are both good tracking devices. They can be used to keep track of your most valued possessions like your keys, your bags and even your pets. The use of these devices are diverse but only limited by a Bluetooth connection. Both AirTag and Tile operates using Bluetooth connection of either your Android or IOS devices. AirTags vs Tile; which is best?
As similar as these two tracking devices may seem, they are quite different. Tile offers a hand full of models, each a different size and thickness. The models come with their respective price. There is a 20 dollars Mate, a Tile pro which is slightly bigger than mate and has a longer Bluetooth range and costs 30 dollars. The Tile pro is the most similar to AirTag in terms of features. There is also a tile slim which is a Credit Card sized option for wallets and cost 25 dollars, the same as the Tile Sticker model. This is the closest to AirTag in terms of size but actually smaller.
Apple makes one version of the AirTag and it cost 29 dollars for a single and 99 dollars for a four pack. It has a customizable back and stainless steel on the other side. The AirTag supersedes the Tile when it comes to the find my network feature on the AirTag. This feature enables the AirTag to be able to communicate its location using other iPhones’ Bluetooth connection. Tile network is not as robust as the AirTag network.
One big area that the Tile Tacker is better is that with the iPhone find my network, it only works on Apple products whereas Tile can work with all operating systems including windows via an app. Both AirTag and Tile has Siri support but only Tile has Google Assistant support.
In view of the models of the Tile and the AirTag, I would say that the best tacker goes to the AirTag trackers since they present all the best feature in just a single tracker instead of slitting different functionalities into different models. The AirTag gives you all you need in just a single device and can be used for multiple purposes.
