The GeForce RTX 3050 is Nvidia’s latest desktop GPU that was released quite recently. RTX 3050 is moderate in features and price since it is an entry-level GPU as compared to the RTX 3090 Ti.
RTX 3050 is a card that specializes in 1080p/60fps gaming which may not be that much impressive to hardcore gamers but is still quite decent. It has ray tracing as well as DLSS and Nvidia G-Sync.
Can the RTX 3050 run 4K?
The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti if paired with the right system memory is capable of getting 4K Ultra graphics settings. Of course, that would mean a little extra spent if you do not already have a decent memory but the experience will be worth it. Especially so if you have a Intel Core i7-8700 6-Core 3.2GHz processor or better to top up to that.
The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti can effectively run through the graphical performance needs of most games with relative ease. Will it do it better than the premium RTX 3090 Ti? No. But the 1080p Ultra will return 200+ frames, then the larger screen resolution of 1440p can deliver 200+ FPS, with the 4K resolution seeing 200+ FPS in Ultra as well. That’s decent enough for $249.
