Nintendo’s Switch video game console debuted on March 3, 2017, throughout the majority of the world. Because the console may be docked to be used as a home console or carried around, it is a hybrid console.

To enable handheld play, its wireless Joy-Con controllers can be mounted to either side of the system. For user input, motion detection, and tactile feedback, they contain conventional buttons and directional analogue sticks.

A specially created operating system called Horizon, based on a microkernel architecture powers the Nintendo Switch. The Switch’s user interface offers tile-based access to games that are either installed on the unit’s storage devices or stored on a game card.

It has quick access buttons for the Nintendo News feed, eShop, and a photo album for screenshots taken while playing; the software’s 4.0 version in October 2017 also made it possible to record and share videos from a few specific titles.

YouTube videos may now be seen on the Nintendo Switch, though. You can use your mobile device as a remote, browse your subscribed channels, and search for content.

A console device, a dock, and two Joy-Con controllers make up the hybrid video game console known as Switch. Despite being a hybrid device, Nintendo calls it “a home console that you can take with you on the road.”
