Do you wear Garmin to sleep?

The only accurate way to determine if someone is awake or asleep and what stage of sleep they’re in is to analyze brain wave patterns, which your Garmin is capable of doing.

However, because they are worn on the wrist, sleep trackers estimate the amount of sleep each night by monitoring body movement and occasionally heart rate information.

Do you wear Garmin to sleep?

We won’t get into the accuracy discussion here, but in order to get the most precise sleep data from your Garmin, you should: Wear your gadget at least two hours prior to going to bed, and leave it on all night. Ensure that your device’s heart rate monitor is on and that it fits you comfortably but snugly.

However, those with poor sleep or mental health disorders may want to avoid them. Those who have generally decent sleep but are interested in tracking or creating a better routine may find a use for sleep devices.

The best way to gauge how well you slept, though, is to pay attention to how you feel each day. Going to bed a little earlier each night may help you feel more rested if you’re fatigued and having trouble focusing – no technology is required.
