YouTube Partner Program will provide more creators access to partnerships starting in mid-January 2023 and give all partners greater methods to monetize their Shorts, including revenue sharing on adverts. If the relevant agreements are signed before February 1, 2023, revenue sharing for Shorts advertisements will start.

Creators will be able to qualify for YPP starting in mid-January 2023 by accumulating 1,000 subscribers and 10 million legitimate public Shorts views in the previous 90 days.

Once accepted into the program, partners get access to all of YPP’s features and advantages, including adverts on long-form films.

Even though any watch hours from Shorts views don’t count against the 4,000 public watch hours requirement, creators still have the option to be eligible for YPP with 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in the previous year.
