Is Legion 5 high end?

The bottom-firing speakers on the Legion 5 were surprisingly loud but had an odd balancing issue. The volume was loud at 10% and barely got louder when I turned it up to 100%; however, this could be a pre-production issue.

I listened to Icon For Hire’s “Demons,” and the intro to the electronic beats was loud and bold, but the electric guitar and drums sounded muddy, while the vocals were crisp and took centre stage, but the bass wasn’t well-rounded enough to make the percussion pop.

The Nahimic app allows you to customize the audio to your liking, with settings such as Surround Sound, Volume Stabilizer, voices, bass, and treble, as well as four presets Music, Movie, Communication, and Gaming.

We can’t test the battery on a pre-production unit, but Lenovo claims the Legion can last 7 to 8 hours on a single charge, which is impressive if true.
