Soon after, the chip was upgraded to an M2, an even better version of the M1 chip. The M2 chip could give off much more performance and efficiency speed at the same power level as the M1 chips. Even though the M2 chips are much more effective than the M1 chips, Apple still designs current laptops to run on the M1 chips.

Buying an M1 laptop in this era has a lot of factors that need consideration. If you are looking for a high-performance and efficiency computer to use for more complex tasks, then an M1 Mac is not a great stop.
However, if you require a more cost-friendly and less powerful computer for less tedious work, then you can consider buying an M1 mac computer.
