Sony officially revealed the name of their latest product called PlayStation VR2. This is the successor of the original PlayStation VR which was released in 2016.
This puts Sony way ahead of its competitors.
Is the PlayStation VR2 out?
Sony has not announced when the PLAYSTATION VR2 be available for sale. But, news and research revealed that somewhere at the end of 2022 is most likely to come out.
The new PS5 VR2 will make games load faster and some graphics could be improved in some games.
Sony’s new PSVR2 sense controller offers haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. The PS5 VR2 can display in 4K HDR quality, has an OLED display with a resolution of 4000 x 2040 pixels, 110-degree field view and some sensors in the headset.
The PS5 VR2 will not be wireless but have cables for both console and headset. Its controllers will have baton-like handles with the plastic orb.
The PS5 VR2 can detect eye movements, increase emotional response and boost experience during online gaming. It can also track players’ movement and that of the controllers via four installed cameras in the headset.
This means it does not need an exterior camera to display your movements and directions as you play.
