The story started when Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc decided to take on the dream of developing a computer system. They were successful in the act to make the computer. They partnered with Motorola who designed the Processor for the computer. Before the computer could reach the market, there were already computers with faster processors from Intel and other brands. Those computers were even less expensive than the Macintosh computer so Apple lost the market.
The company had to regroup and find more suitable means to get back on its feet. Once they did, they nicknamed the Macintosh computers, Mac. This has become the widely known name of the Macintosh computers.
