Roblox, as we understand it, is similar to an online playroom with a variety of online games. Children can choose to play with readily available games or to create their own. The games are interactive and can be customized.
In Roblox, for example, your child is represented by an avatar. Your child can choose the appearance of his or her avatar. This avatar can be enhanced with new clothes, gear, and a special skill or ability.
Within Roblox, your child can communicate with other players. This is dangerous for your child, so keep an eye on him or her while they are playing.
The good news is that we discovered Roblox has parental controls that you can use to mitigate these risks, though we aren’t using them right now because we don’t know how.
