The iPhone 14 will come with new features including changes in the phone’s body size. Both the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 pro max will be slightly thicker compared to its predecessor by 0.2 millimetres.
The iPhone 14 pro will be slightly taller than its predecessor by 0.76 millimetres whereas the iPhone 14 pro max will remain the same. More also, the iPhone 14 pro max will be a little narrower by 0.52 millimetres.
All these changes are to make the phone more comfortable to handle and feel good in the hands. The camera bump on the iPhone 14 models is going to be empirically thicker from 3.5 millimetres to 4.17 millimetres.
This is a 19 per cent increase but, does it affect the camera performance?
Will iPhone 14 have a better camera?
The iPhone 14 will have the biggest camera upgrade we are yet to see. The resolutions on the iPhone 14 will be 48 megapixels instead of the 12 megapixels that the predecessor came with.
This happens to be the largest increase we have seen since the iPhone 6s in 2015 which increased the resolution from 8 megapixels to 12 megapixels.
It was also stated that the upcoming upgrade in the camera resolution is the cause of the extra size of the rear camera bump.
There have been added lenses to the previous ones to improve the camera’s performance.
This and a lot of other upgrades will come with the iPhone 14 camera making it have a better camera than the current iPhone release has.
