At CES 2017, the Legion Y520 and Y720, the first laptops under the Legion brand, were unveiled. On June 6, 2017, the Legion Y920, a high-performance model featuring an Intel i7-7820HK quad-core processor and discrete Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics, was introduced.
Lenovo unveiled three new laptops with fresh, redesigned chassis at E3 2018: the Y530, Y730, and Y7000. Lenovo introduced the Legion 3, 5, and 7 laptops in 2020, with the Legion 7 having the greatest specifications.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 6 15 (2021) and the Dell G15 (2022) are comparable to one another. Because of its far more robust construction, superior keyboard and touchpad, and a greater variety of ports, Lenovo outperforms the competition in terms of user experience.
