If you’re one who makes calls, you may sometimes wish you had a way to make your contact disappear so people can’t save your number.

Or to just hide your identity and number while talking to someone.

The good news is, that’s very possible. There are ways to hide your own number and prevent it from showing while making a call.

How do I block my own number from calling me?

Three options are available for you to explore. This includes the following:

First, you can open your phone’s keypad. Dial *67 and then follow it up by the number you want to call. This will hide your number, showing it up as Blocked or Private when calling the person.

Secondly, you can equally block your number in settings. Go to setting, select Phone, Press show my Caller ID, then use the toggle switch there to hide your caller ID.

This works for both iOS and Android phones.

If you’re having difficulties with that, there’s a third option. You can equally call your network carrier and request that all outgoing calls be blocked.

They will gladly do that and if you decided later on to show them, you can just call them and have that reversed.
