Even though AirPods are made for Apple Watch, Garmin Watch users can take advantage of Apple’s wire-free technologies if they own a Garmin Watch.

To connect to any device, the AirPods use Bluetooth 4.0, sometimes referred to as Bluetooth BLE or Smart Bluetooth. In other words, your Garmin watch needs Bluetooth 4.0 in order for your AirPods to pair with it.
