The new update function known as Family Center allows parents to view the friend’s list and recent message recipients of their children. This was implemented so that parents could monitor their teen children’s conversation partners.
However, parents cannot view their children’s conversation histories; they can only see who their children have been chatting with. in that parents know who their kids have been hanging out with. Snap claims that the new update was created to “reflect the way… parents engage with their teens in the real world.”
Parents can also instantly report accounts they consider to be breaking Snap’s policies through the Family Center. In addition to the current features, the company intends to add new features to the Family Center.
