Lenovo, as usual, delivers a fantastic keyboard: the buttons strike an excellent balance between the snappiness required for gaming and the softness required for extended typing sessions.

One final practical area where the Lenovo shines is in port selection. The Legion has four full-size USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connectors, the majority of which are located on the back of the device. There are more ports than competitors, and cable maintenance is simpler.
It’s a good start, but the Legion falls short elsewhere. The keyboard has four-zone RGB LED backlighting rather than per-key backlighting, and the trackpad is subpar; instead, use a USB mouse. Use a headset or external speakers as well: the audio kit on the Lenovo is tinny and muffled.
