Omegle, initially supported only text chat among users until 2010 when the feature was added to the website. Now users cannot only text-chat but hear and see other users.
The free website allows users to meet and interact with other users. Omegle does not require users to register or verify their identity before using the platform. Users after each session have the option to save the chat log.
They can also make use of third-party software in taking screenshots and also download their video chat. Video chats by default are not saved, however, Omegle has an automated system that monitors chats for nudity and pornographic activities.
