The 6.3-inch Pixel 5a from the previous year’s Pixel 6a costs $449. However, it includes Google’s in-house Tensor processor, which is also present in the $599 6.4-inch Pixel 6 and the $899 6.7-inch Pixel 6 Pro.
Google claims that Tensor enables the Pixel 6a to carry out complex AI and machine learning tasks—especially for taking pictures and videos—without placing as much strain on the battery as prior Pixel models.
