Wireless charging is not one of the noteworthy improvements made by the Pixel 6a over earlier Pixel A smartphones. You might be better suited to choose the Pixel 6, which offers 21W fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging if wireless charging capability is high on your priority list.
If the Pixel 6a had at least higher wired charging speeds, the absence of wireless charging compatibility wouldn’t have been such a big concern. That’s not the case, though.
The phone’s maximum power output is 18W, which is far from quick. The phone takes roughly two hours to travel from 0% to 100%, as we said in our review. Not to mention, the box does not include a charger.
Does Pixel 6a have wireless charging?
Thankfully, the Pixel 6a’s 4,410mAh battery can support usage for an entire day. Given its pricing, the Pixel 6a’s lack of wireless charging functionality isn’t all that shocking.
Convenient wireless charging is still uncommon in mid-range phones and is typically only available in more expensive flagship models.
