On May 11, 2022, Google released the Pixel 6a. Surprisingly, the company did not begin accepting pre-orders for the device until July 21. On July 28, general sales of the phone began.
As with the Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 4a, the Google Pixel 6a is not a budget buyer’s dream. Instead, it is more similar to the Pixel 5a in that it offers a plethora of features at a slightly lower price than its parent device.
In the case of the Pixel 6a, it has a lower-quality display, a lower-quality camera system, less RAM, a smaller battery, and no internal storage options it’s limited to 128GB. It does, however, resemble the Pixel 6, including the camera across the back bar.
You can save $150 off the base price of a Google Pixel 6 by making all of these sacrifices. The Pixel 6a costs the same as the Google Pixel 5a when it was first released, $449.
However, when compared to the Pixel 5a, the Pixel 6a is a far superior phone, boasting a more modern design, a faster processor, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and other features.

Battery life The Pixel 6a is powered by a 4,410 mAh battery. Google claims that the Pixel 6a has a battery life of 24 hours or up to 72 hours when using Extreme Battery Saver mode.
