Destiny 2 is a free-to-play looter shooter that combines elements from RPGs and MMOs with the traditional shooter experience. In it, you take on the role of a Guardian, a once-dead human who is resurrected by the Light of a para casal being known as the Traveler.

Guardians sharpen their skills by battling each other in The Crucible, and Gambit will appeal to Guardians who enjoy fighting humanity’s enemies while also competing against other Guardians.
As players engage in these activities, they will receive new weapons and armour some of which may be Exotic, the rarest type of gear in the game to use.
Each weapon and armour piece will have a different perk and stat roll each time it drops, adding variety to gear and allowing players to hunt for rolls that suit their playstyle.
