God of War Collection was released in North America for the PlayStation 3 on November 17, 2009, marking the franchise’s first appearance on the platform. It is a remastered port of the first and second God of War games.

Bluepoint Games ported the games, which include trophies and high-definition 1080p anti-aliased graphics at 60 frames per second.

The collection was later ported to the PlayStation Vita by Sanzaru Games and released in May 2014 the franchise’s only appearance on this platform.

God of War: Origins Collection was released for the PlayStation 3 in North America on September 13, 2011. It is a remastered port of the series’ first two PlayStation Portable installments, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.

Ready at Dawn ported God of War Origins, which includes 1080p high-definition video, anti-aliased graphics at 60 frames per second, DualShock 3 rumble features, trophies, and is the only God of War release to include Stereoscopic 3D.

Is God of War 5 the last game?

God of War 5 is undoubtedly in the works following the previous game, but it’s likely to follow a similar, if not better, path to The Last of Us 2. Although it has not been confirmed, there is little doubt that God of War is in the works for the PS5.
