The goal of Infosys is to retain talent. This includes giving top workers the opportunity to join career development programs, which will advance their promotions from 10 to 12 years to 7-9 years. Krish Shankar, executive vice president and group head of human resources at Infosys, claims that the company will make sure that a worker progresses from a software engineer to a project manager in around 9 years.
He continued by saying that while promotions for competent performance could take nine years if one is great, the time can be cut down to roughly seven years.
Including trainees, Infosys reported utilization of 76.6 percent in Q2 versus 77.6 percent in the June quarter. In the context of IT services, utilization refers to the number of individuals who have started working on projects. Higher bench strength is implied by the decline in use.
Is Infosys increase salary?
The second-largest IT services provider in India, Infosys Ltd., has verified that a significant number of its staff members have seen salary increases of between 10 and 13 percent, with top performers receiving increases of between 20 and 25 percent.
According to a Mint story, the increases will depend on an employee’s grade, with senior managers receiving smaller raises due to their higher salaries.
