Since the Nintendo Switch OLED model’s introduction, everyone has been raving about the device’s stunning new screen. The console’s 7″ OLED screen delivers beautiful colours and a sharp contrast to handheld gaming, even though it doesn’t provide many new bells and whistles compared to its predecessor.

Naturally, like with any brand-new, pricey device, folks are curious about how durable that lovely OLED screen is. A new durability test, however, indicates that OLED Switch owners may want to consider spending money on a robust screen cover.

Many users of the Switch’s OLED version spotted a thin protective layer covering the screen even before it was officially introduced on October 8. It turns out that while some people removed the screen, you shouldn’t.

Nintendo informs users that the new Switch model has a protective coating called an anti-scattering adhesive film the instructions. Should the screen break, this additional layer is intended to prevent the glass from shattering into large, deadly shards.

Additionally, it provides a little bit of defence against dents and wears and tear.

Is the Nintendo Switch OLED fragile?

Yes Because the OLED panel is soft, we can keep it out of places where coins, keys, and other metal things could scratch it.
