American video game developer Bungie has its headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. Sony Interactive Entertainment owns the studio.

Alex Seropian founded the business in May 1991, and after releasing Jason Jones’ video game Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete, Seropian later hired Jones as a programmer.

The firm, which had its beginnings in Chicago, Illinois, focused mostly on Macintosh games in its early years. Marathon and Myth are two of the company’s well-known video game franchises.

Oni was created by a subsidiary company called Bungie West and released in 2001. Take-Two Interactive owned the game at the time, with a 19.9% ownership stake.
