Xbox Game Pass is comparable to rival Sony’s PlayStation Now service and Xbox One’s current EA Play video game subscription. At launch, there were more than 100 games in the subscription library, and from time to time, games would be added to and occasionally removed from the catalog.
In order to provide users with “consistent, full-fidelity gameplay without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth, or connectivity issues,” Xbox Game Pass allows gamers to download the whole game to their console.
According to Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, this was done. Xbox Game Pass includes titles from a variety of publishers, including Bandai Namco, Capcom, WB Games, 2K Games, and first-party titles from Xbox Game Studios, in contrast to EA Access.
Players may also test out titles they wouldn’t otherwise buy thanks to the Game Pass.
What happens when Game Pass games are removed?
Even if they have been released from the Xbox Game Pass library, games and DLC won’t be removed from your hard drive unless you tell it to. If you buy DLC for a game and that title leaves the Xbox Game Pass catalog, your rights to the DLC will not be affected.
