When a user logs on to the system, the capabilities available to him or her are determined by the licenses associated with the logon. When a user logs on to a client application, he or she typically provides a user ID and a station ID.

Once authenticated, the user’s allowed capabilities are determined by the combination of the user ID and the Station ID. Pure Connect gives you more options for how you apply features to stations and users.

Access licenses can be obtained through a user license Assigned or Concurrent or a station license. For example, if a site has multiple shifts, station licenses can be used.

User licenses can also be used if you have users who move around a lot, such as sales or business managers.
