What RAM do I need for Legion 5?

Lenovo’s 15.6 display has a 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz, which is ideal for gaming because the refresh rate is fast enough to keep single-player and eSports titles moving smoothly.

However, the Legion falls short in terms of quality. The brightness level of 328 nits is adequate, but the black point of 0.46 nits detracts from it. This results in an unimpressive contrast ratio of 713:1.

In practice, this means the display lacks depth and nuance – the brightness provides plenty of punch, but darker areas aren’t as intense, and games appear flat.

The colors are also mediocre. The panel does display 91.7% of the sRGB color gamut and has a reasonable Delta E of 2.39, but the temperature of 7809K is cool. When you combine this with the low-contrast figure, you get a display that appears greyish brown.

What RAM do I need for Legion 5?

DDR4-3200 RAM is used in all Legion 5 Pro Gen 6 models. Purchase two identical RAM modules to take advantage of the dual-channel capability. I recommend that you purchase dual-rank 2Rx8 memory.
