The Redmi Note 11 is a compromise, like every low-cost phone: the design, build quality, screen, and battery life are all excellent, but the back camera quality and general performance are where you’ll see the price reductions.

It measures 159.9 by 73.9 by 8.1 millimeters, is heavy, and weighs 179 grams. It has an Octa-core CPU, an Adreno GPU, and a Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G.

Android 11 with MIUI 13 is the operating system for the Redmi Note 11, 11S, 11S 5G, 11, Pro, and 11 Pro+ (also known as Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in India), whereas Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 is the operating system for the Redmi Note 11 5G, 11 Pro (China), and 11 Pro+.

The MIUI 13 update for the Redmi Note 11, 11, 5G, 11, S, Chinese, Global, 11, Pro, and 11 Pro+ was based on Android 12. Both the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S sport a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery with a 6.43-inch FHD+ display.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 review

Xiaomi wants to remind us that smartphones aren’t just about high-end flagship models with its Redmi and Poco sub-brands. The company frequently delivers inexpensive phones with more features than you may expect given the price.

We’ve seen it a lot in the past, and the Redmi Note 11 is yet another example of it. For its affordable price of about £200 in the UK, the phone offers a beautiful screen, a fair battery life, and amazing build quality.

You might not be aware that you paid so little for the Redmi Note 11 while using it, and your flagship-owning pals might be perplexed as to why they paid so much for their device.

The Redmi Note 11’s specs aren’t quite as remarkable, which is to be expected, but we didn’t see any significant slowdowns or glitches when using the device. The phone is more than capable and won’t let you down whether you’re watching movies, playing games, sending messages, checking social media, or browsing the web.

The Redmi Note 11 excels in media playback thanks to the vivid AMOLED display and the competent stereo speakers. This phone may be just what you need if you’re searching for one that can handle streaming services like Netflix, iPlayer, and YouTube. It also comes in at 6.43 inches.
