Rumours about Apple dropping a tracking device have been circulating for a long time. And after so many keynotes that left the consumers hanging, Apple finally came out with the AirTag devices.
This is a portable tracking device that you can attach to your valuable items like keys, bags and even your pet to keep track of their location.
Most people consider the AirTag as a new extension of their iPhones. Now we’re going to find out whether the AirTag lives up to the hype.
Are Apple Tags Worth It?
When talking about price, a single AirTag cost $29 but when buying a package of four, you will get the package at $99. I think this is a fair price for a tracker that works well. A single Airtage is just a small device that makes it easy to fit in almost all places.
The AirTag works perfectly well and uses sound and precision finding to locate items they are attached to. Very easy to connect with your iPhone. Uses other iPhones to give you the accurate location of your tag and also has a removable battery that on its’ own can last up to a year.
The only thing that turns me off about the AirTag is the fact that they have no integrated way to attach them to anything. It is just round and small but has no handle to attach it to a key. To be able to do so, you will need to purchase additional accessories to add to the Airtag.
Even with this, I think AirTag is a totally worth it for the accuracy of locating your tags.
