Laptops are the more portable forms of computers available today. They are easy to use, smart and effective. Unlike desktop computers, laptops are light weight and able to sit on the laps of a person. Guess it acts up to its name.
When was the first laptop released?
The history of laptops began so many years ago, a little over 12 decades and counting. The first laptop came to the marker in 1985. This laptop was made by the popular Toshiba company. Funny enough, the company is not well remembered for this victory. Today, even though they are part of the world’s top computer manufacturers, they are not the best.
The First portable computer.
The first ever laptop was called the T1100. It was released in Europe. At the time, only big men and companies had access to this technology. Before the release of the T1100, the IBM 5100 was the most portable computer in existence but it was not called a laptop computer.
Can a laptop last more than 15 years?
Laptops are durable devices designed to be with you as long as they can. They can possibly alive for even more than 15 years but the question is, will they be able to keep up with the competition in the world of technology?
If you are able to keep a laptop for more than 15 years, it would just as well be considered dead because by that time, games and other programs would have advanced so much that your laptop will not be able to handle them.
