The Sony WH-1000XM4 is an upgrade from the Sony WH-1000XM3. It comes with great noise-cancelling technology, an amazing sound quality, soft ear padding for your comfort, a USB-C port, and SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, and wired playback.
Perhaps the only downside to this device is its price since it is a bit more expensive than most headphones. Just like previous models, the Sony WH-1000XM4 is not waterproof. If water or foreign matter enters the headset, it may result in fire or electric shock.
In terms of charging, as previously mentioned, the headphone contains a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. To charge it up, you can use the supplied USB Type-C cable to charge the headphones before use. You can also charge up using your personal computer or laptop.
Can I use my WH-1000XM4 when charging?
When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer and is charging, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed. This means that there is no way to use the Sony WH-1000XM4 while charging.
