Among its numerous features and apps offered on the Apple Watch for the convenience and comfort of its users, some apps are simply unavailable. Among them is the YouTube app for streaming videos and Facebook.
Facebook does not currently offer an Apple Watch app, so it cannot be added to your Apple Watch. Despite this, you can still receive Facebook notifications on your Apple Watch if you already have the app installed on your phone.
To set this up, on your iPhone, go to Settings. From settings, tap on Notifications. From there tap on Facebook. Then check to see that Allow Notifications is enabled and that Show in Notification Centre is also turned on.
After you’re down setting that up on your iPhone, now time to link it so notifications go to your Apple Watch. To set that up, do the following; On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to My Watch. From there tap on Notifications and scroll down to Facebook. Then check that the setting is turned on. If it’s not, enable it.
With the above down, even though you may not be able to have the Facebook app itself on your Apple Watch, you can access your notifications to know what’s happening on your timeline.
