The Apple watch presents Apple’s iPhones on a more portable level for the owners. With an Apple watch, you can do a lot of things on your iPhone without needing to touch the iPhone itself. All you need is a connection between the iPhone and the Apple Watch.

The connection can be through Bluetooth, WiFi or through a cellular network. The best connection you can establish between these devices is the cellular connection which offers you the widest range of operation away from the paired iPhone device.

One mostly used feature on the Apple watch is the notification push. This feature allows you to see notifications on your iPhone right from your Apple Watch on your wrist. This has made the reading of messages and other notifications a no-fuss affair. After you receive a message, you will want to reply back. For this, Apple has made room for replying to messages and texting people from the Apple watch. Let’s see how this can be done.

How do I text on my Apple Watch 3?

You can send text from your Apple watch using the imessage and other messaging apps like WhatsApp and Instagram. My most concern is how to actually type the texts on the Apple watch.

Looking at the sizes in which the Apple watches come, it is hard to imagine typing with the traditional qwerty keyboard on its’ screen. However, Apple has made other easy to use features that allow you to text on the Apple watches.

One such feature is the Scribble feature. With this, you can freely draw the letters on the screen. This is then transformed into actual letters and a text as you continue writing. This is more like writing with a pen in hand. As slow as this can be, it is a smart way to text or replies a text

You can also use the Speech to Text feature on the watch to send texts from your Apple watch. Another way is to use Emojis to communicate or use already existing templates to reply to texts.

Overall, there is third-party keyboard app available for Apple watches that can also be used to text. The only issue is the sizes of the keys on the keyboard.
