An iPhone is a brand of mobile phone designed and manufactured by Apple Inc. It runs on the iOS operating system.

The first generation of the iPhone was introduced in 2007 by Steve Jobs.

The iPhone has a user interface built around a multi-touch screen. It connects to cellular networks and can be used to make calls and send text messages. 12 years after the first iPhone was released, a new brand was designed and manufactured.

This brand is called iPhone 11.

There are some circumstances that demand a hard reset of an iPhone 11. The most common reason for a hard reset is software errors, network connectivity issues, and app crashing.

More so when the owner of an iPhone wants to sell it. Pieces of information stored on the iPhone, settings, and photos need to be cleared by hard resetting it. This makes it back to default settings.

The new user can set it up the way they like.

Instead of the old process which, if you recall, required you to hold down two buttons to force restart the iPhone, you now need to press two buttons quickly and then press and hold the third button in order to force the phone to restart.

Here are the steps:

  • Press on the Volume Up button located on the left side of the phone and let go.
  • Press on the volume down button and let go.
  • Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

You need to press the volume up and volume down buttons quickly, but not at the same time.

The side button is what Apple calls the power button on newer iPhone models. After a few seconds of holding down the side button, your phone should restart itself.
