How do you unlock an iPhone without the passcode?
- Make sure that you have a computer (Mac or PC).
The most important and basic requirement here is a PC. If you are using a PC with Windows operating system, make sure it has Windows 8 or later, and must have iTunes installed. Another requirement is the cable that came with the iPhone to connect your phone to the computer.

2. Turn off your iPhone.

3. Put your iPhone in recovery mode

4. Restore your iPhone.
- Locate your iPhone in the Finder or in iTunes on the computer that it is connected to.
- Choose “restore” when you see the option to restore or update.
- Wait for the process to finish.
- Disconnect your iPhone from the computer then set up a new passcode.
You can now use your iPhone.
