The Android Operating System was developed by Google and is the most widely used operating system in the world followed by IOS. The majority of smartphones on the market run on the Android operating system such as Samsung, Pixel and others.

Apple Inc. is the designer and the manufacturer of the IOS and the IPhone in general. The IPhone Operating System is the second most widely used Operating system in the world. The IOS unlike Android is only designed for the IPhone and is not applicable to any other smartphone brand.

To answer the question of which Operating System (OS) is the best is relative. What feature or property are you looking at? Below are some of the variations among these Operating Systems.

Security

The Android OS unlike the IPhone is easy to bypass by any regular programmer. In the case of theft, the android phone`s security system can be easily bypassed. The IPhone on the other hand developed a system known as “Find My IPhone” that when activated allows the user to report the phone missing by logging into his/her iCloud.

The interesting thing about this feature is it renders the phone useless till returned to the owner. This system also allows you to track the location of your lost device.

Regular System Updates

Most Android smartphones are not liable for regular system updates except for some Samsung models and the Google Pixel. The Google Pixel designed and manufactured by Google is one Android phone that receives regular updates. The IPhone on the other hand receives regular updates that do not only improve performance but also add new features.

The Pixel 6, recently launched by Google is one of the best performance smartphones out there. It shares a lot of come characteristics with the latest IPhone on the market such as storage space and ram space making both devices performance efficient.

The IPhone Operating System has an amazing user interface and features such as automation, find my phone and many others. Android devices are also equipped with an amazing user interface and features. The android devices unlike the IPhone can run almost every type of mobile application.
