Is LTE better than 4G?

Is-LTE-better-than-4G?-

The standards of the 4G network with its faster connection, speeds and mobile hotspots were groundbreaking at the time of its release. It led to most 3G networks being upgraded to 4G speeds for the average smartphone.

The 4G allowed users to enjoy digital media on their mobile devices, by supporting more fully in streaming video, multimedia apps, and high-quality music, all in record time.

4G LTE, or “Long Term Evolution”, actually is supposed to be an advancement on 3G. It is basically just a smart way to allow cellular networks to advertise 4G speeds, without actually reaching the 4G standard.
While 4G LTE is no doubt an advanced form of 3G, it is technically not 4G.

Is LTE better than 4G?

Basically, 4G is faster and better than LTE since 4G meets the technical standards designated for it while LTE data transfer speed standard is just a measure devised to pose as 4G by offering a slightly better speed than 3G until, of course, your device picks up the actual 4G speed.

For a layman, it is slightly difficult to detect the differences between the two’s speeds. If you really want to enjoy a 4G network, you’d need a device that supports it, not just LTE.
