Launched in 2014, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was the latest talk in town with a cool $649 price for sale. It came with lots of good features for fans of high-end stuff. A Fingerprint sensor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, water resistance, and Samsung S Health were the new features introduced in the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Is Samsung S5 Outdated?

The Samsung Galaxy S5’s performance is a bit positive you can get out of a phone though. You can expect lags as you use the phone daily mainly for heavy tasks. But still, performance is of a high-end standard. It is, not to say, is slow but a newer application version after update can make it seem so.

The Samsung S5’s camera offers 16 megapixels for the main camera while the back camera offers 2 megapixels. Picture quality in the Galaxy S5 is not that bad too. You can take high-quality photos with the aid of the auto-focus feature. The camera is capable of taking HDR and 4K video capture for the main camera while the back camera offers 1080 pixels recording at 30fps. It has different camera modes such as Beauty Face, burst shooting, dual camera, panorama, and some selective focus options.

Battery performance in the Galaxy S5 is not that bad for whole-day use. Power saving mode is quite impressive in addition to the features, it’s the best for saving battery. People report battery drain, freeze, and crashes on the phone though not many experienced it so far. As time passes, the battery drain gets even worse.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is a good phone to date but many features on the phone aren’t as better as the current devices out there.
