The company is the parent organization of giant social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, among several other subsidiaries.
Meta is currently one of the world’s most valuable companies and is considered one of the Big Five American information technology companies. The other four are Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft. The company was founded in 2004, about 18 years ago.
