The Samsung Smart tag and the Samsung SmartTag Plus were announced during the Samsung’s Galaxy unpacked event on the 14th of January 2021. These two devices were supposed to be released together but the SmartTag plus was delayed till later in the same year.
Upon release, the Samsung SmartTag was sold for a cool price of 29 US dollars. The Samsung SmartTag plus is being old at 30 US dollars.

These two devices share a lot of common features. The operating app has an automatic refresh feature that automatically updates the location of both the SmartTag and the SmartTag plus. Both SmartTag and the SmartTag plus are highly personalizable with an Integrated UI chip to help you more easily locate the tags.
They also come with a long-lasting CR2032 batteries life of up to one year. Both have the same dimension: 1.54 in (39 mm) x 1.54 in (39 mm) and Thickness: 0.39 in (9.9 mm).
Aside from all these features, the smart tag plus offers additional features. It is built with ultra-wideband technology that makes locating the tag even more accurate and easy. The Smart Tag Plus has a little plus sign at the back of it. I personally rate the SmartTag plus higher than the SmartTag.
