Looking for something to do? Forget watching cat videos on YouTube. You could make hundreds of pounds a year by doing online surveys and trying free stuff. Lots of companies want new people to do surveys for cash and rewards.
But watch out! Some survey sites are not real and won’t give you any money. We checked out 27 good survey sites that actually pay you for your thoughts.
Each site only has a few surveys every month that pay. To make more money and get more rewards, sign up for as many survey sites as you can. We’ve got more tips at the end too!

1. Branded Surveys
Branded Surveys is an online group that does a lot of surveys about things all over the world.
Who are they? They’re really liked by people who like doing surveys. They give out a lot of surveys that pay.
Rewards: You get either money or gift cards.
How much for each survey: Between 50 and 500 points (100 points are worth $1 or £0.77).
The least amount you need to get a reward: $5 (£3.75).
What we think: In our review of Branded Surveys, we say we really like this survey site. It’s one of our favorites. The website is new and good, easy to use, and lots of people on Trustpilot like it too. It pays quickly.
You can also get points over time by telling your friends about it. And you get some of what they earn too.
2. Swagbucks
Loads of ways to get cool stuff as rewards. Plus, a special bonus just for signing up!
Who are they? Swagbucks is one of the big and trustworthy sites where you can get paid for doing surveys. They’ve given out over $600,000,000 in rewards to their members from all around the world. And they don’t just do surveys—you can earn rewards by playing games, checking out offers, surfing the web, shopping online, and watching videos!
Rewards: You can get money, vouchers, and chances to win prizes.
How much for each survey: You can get between 30 and 150 SB points (100 SB is worth $1 or £0.77).
The least amount you need to get a reward: Just 1 SB.
What we think: We’re big fans of Swagbucks. And people who read our stuff like them too. We’ve noticed that doing surveys and polls every day gives you the most for your time. There are 11 ways to earn points on their site right now.

3. Ipsos I-say
Earning £10 or more every month is possible with the IPSOS i-Say survey site.
Who are they? They’re a big deal in the survey world, paying well for sharing your thoughts. IPSOS partners with famous brands and research companies all over the world.
Rewards: You can get high-street and Amazon vouchers, plus there are draws where all members get a shot at winning prizes.
How much for each survey: You usually get around £1 per survey.
The least amount you need to get a reward: Just £10.
What we think: IPSOS i-Say is a trustworthy survey group. They email you surveys every week. The best part? You don’t need to do loads of surveys before you can cash out—usually, it’s under 10 surveys.
4. Onepoll
Get an extra £5 just for signing up!
Who are they? OnePoll is famous for their short and snappy surveys that cover all kinds of topics. They give surveys to newspapers and big brands.
Rewards: You can get money through cash or PayPal.
How much for each survey: The surveys usually pay between 10p and £1.
The least amount you need to get a reward: You’ll need £40.
What we think: OnePoll was among the first survey sites in the UK. They always have these quick and interesting surveys, especially the ones about celebrities.
Each survey takes about 3 minutes, so if you earn an average of 20p per survey, it’ll take roughly 10 hours to reach £40.
It’s a good idea to check your OnePoll account daily for new surveys. Some people find themselves just short of the £40 mark. If that happens, you can refer a friend and grab £4, then cash out your earnings.

5. Lifepoints
LifePoints is a place where you can answer surveys and make some money – about £3 to £5 for every hour you spend. It’s made by joining two famous survey sites, MySurveyand GlobalTestMarket.
When you do surveys, you get rewards like money through PayPal, Amazon vouchers, or vouchers for shops. Each survey gives you about £1, and when you gather 550 points, you can get a reward of £5.
We checked it out, and we got many surveys that paid us. They seem to fit well with what we like and who we are.
Usually, a survey takes 15 minutes and gets you 100 points. That means you can earn roughly £3 to £5 in an hour by doing these surveys.
If you sign up and wait for them to send you surveys, you can start making money straight away!
6. Survey Junkie
This is a new survey website in the UK. It’s already well-known in the US. When you sign up, they give you a bonus of 25 pence, and you can take your money out when you’ve earned £5.
They pay you through PayPal, and the surveys they give you can get you from 10 pence to £3 each.
We tried it out, and when we signed up, we got 25 points as a bonus. Then, when we answered some quick questions about ourselves, we got 50 more points. For every 100 points, you get £1.
Right now, they already have some surveys available, but since they’re new in the UK, there will probably be more and more surveys coming up in the future.
7. Pinecone Research
Pinecone is a really special survey and product testing company. Right now, you can only join if you’re invited.
When you do a survey for them, they give you £3, and sometimes they even send you products to try out for free.
Every survey gets you £3, and that’s also the minimum amount you need to get paid.
We think Pinecone is like finding a treasure because it’s not easy to get an invite. But right now, there are a few invites available, so it’s a good idea to sign up while you can. The money you get from these surveys is quite good, and they don’t take too long to finish.
It’s important to know that Pinecone doesn’t always have open spots for new people. Sometimes they let in a limited number of new members, and we try to secure some invites for our readers each month.
8. Toluna
Toluna is a big survey site that offers daily surveys where you can earn cash or vouchers. They work for big companies and want your opinions on products and services in return for rewards like PayPal cash or vouchers for places like Amazon.
Surveys can earn you between 1,200 to 50,000 points, with 80,000 points giving you a £15 voucher. You can cash out vouchers with 27,000 points or enter prize draws with just 500 points.
We’ve done a thorough Toluna review and found that you can easily do multiple surveys daily on their website or app. Each survey takes about 15 minutes, so to earn a £15 voucher, you might spend around 4 hours, making it roughly £3.75 per hour.

9. Yougov
YouGov stands out among survey sites as it focuses on things like social issues, politics, and general topics. They want to know your thoughts on big topics like what’s happening in the world and what you think about products.
When you do a survey with them, you can get anything between 50p to £3. And you can get your rewards either in cash or by entering prize draws.
The minimum amount you need to get before cashing out is £50.
It’s quite interesting to sign up for YouGov because their surveys are about what’s going on right now. They really want you to share your opinions on current news.
These surveys can take up to 30 minutes, but they don’t come too often. We got one or two surveys every two weeks, so it might take a few months to get to the threshold to cash out.
But, just for signing up, they give you £1. And if you refer your friends, you can quickly gather more points and money!
So, YouGov may not have surveys every day, but they cover some big topics and it’s a good way to share your views on important things happening around us.
10. Valued Opinions
Valued Opinions is connected to a big research group. They send surveys to people whose info matches what they’re looking for.
If you do their surveys, you can get vouchers for places like Amazon, M&S, Sainsbury’s, and John Lewis.
Each survey might get you between £1 to £5. But you need at least £10 in rewards before you can get a voucher.
They’re pretty good at picking surveys that match what you like or who you are, which makes them more interesting. These surveys can be cool and take around 10 to 30 minutes each. So in just one hour, you could earn a £10 voucher.
11. Inbox Pounds
InboxPounds, also known as InboxDollars in the US, is not your usual survey site – and that’s why students are into it. They pay you for more than just surveys; you can earn by playing games and even by searching the web! Plus, you get a bonus when you sign up for free.
This community is a bit different because they don’t just focus on surveys; they reward you for various activities. You can get money or vouchers for doing different tasks.
For each survey, you can earn anywhere between 20 pence to £1. But you need at least £20 in rewards before you can cash out.
What’s neat about InboxPounds is the variety they offer. You can choose to do surveys, get money back on purchases, play games, read emails, or just search the web – and you get cash in return.
Right now, when you sign up, you get a bonus, so there’s no harm in giving it a try. It might take a few weeks to reach the minimum amount you need to cash out, but it seems like a fun way to earn some money online.
12. Opinion Outpost:
Quick payouts and fun surveys. You can earn 50p to £1 per survey, and the minimum cash-out is £2.50. You only need to complete 5 surveys to get paid.
13. PrizeRebel:
Offers £2 as the minimum payout. You can earn between 50p to £20 per survey. It only takes 200 points to get a £2 Amazon voucher. You can earn points by completing surveys and other tasks like offers and watching videos.
14. Marketagent:
Needs £10 to cash out. Surveys pay between 10p to £3.60 each, and they’re pretty frequent because they have a lot of users. Surveys usually take around 15 minutes to complete.
15. PanelBase:
Gives you £3 just for signing up. They don’t send a ton of surveys, but the ones they do are well-paid. The average payment per survey is about £1.50, and the minimum cash-out is £10.
16. Attapoll:
Has a minimum cash-out of £2.50. Surveys pay between 10p to £1 each. Look for surveys with higher star ratings to make more money, and you can earn around £1 for every 10 minutes of activity.
17. Qmee:
Offers immediate payouts through PayPal. Surveys pay around 30p each, and there’s no minimum cash-out. You can withdraw what you earn whenever you want.
18. Triaba Panel:
Requires a minimum of £8 to cash out. Surveys pay between 16p to £2.80, and they take around 6 to 10 minutes to complete. You can make an average of 70p per survey.
19. Maru Voice:
You need £10 to cash out. Surveys pay between £1 to £10 each. They don’t have a lot of surveys, but the ones they offer are interesting and tend to pay well.
20. The OpinionPanel Community:
Needs a minimum of £25 to cash out. Surveys pay between 50p to £4, and they can go up to £30 to £50 for online focus groups. They usually take around 10 minutes.
21. Opinion Bureau:
The minimum payout is £10. Surveys pay between £1 to £10 each.
22. Mingle Surveys:
Requires £16 to cash out. Surveys pay between 40p to £1 each, and it takes around 5 to 20 minutes to complete a survey.
23. New Vista Live:
Has a £50 minimum cash-out. Surveys usually take around 15 minutes and pay about £1 each.
24. Hiving:
You can cash out at £4. Surveys reward about 50 points per minute, and you can withdraw when you hit 4000 points (£4).
25. Panel Opinion:
Requires a minimum of £10 to cash out. Surveys pay between 50p to £4 each and they’re paid in cash.
26. Prolific Academic:
Has a £20 minimum cash-out with no fees. Surveys pay between £1 to £10 each, but you need to give quality answers to earn well.
27. Y Live:
Cash out at £50. Surveys pay around £2-£3 each and you can earn £1 for every 5 minutes you spend. But they’re quite selective with their surveys, so you need to fill out your profile well to get more surveys.
