what-are-the-disadvantages-of-macbook-air

The Apple MacBook Air was first introduced in 2008. Since then, there have been releases of several generations with massive recognizable advancements in each new version.

The MacBook Air has several advantages including the fact that it is very lightweight, with the current MacBook Air weighing just a little over 2.8 pounds. Its size and weight make it one of the go-to MacBooks in the system, popular among students and professionals alike.

The MacBook Air also has a very strong battery system designed to last you a couple of years. The long battery life of the MacBook Air is one of its endearing qualities.

Again, the MacBook Air has one of the highest resolutions among all Apple MacBooks. This makes it great for graphic uses too.

What are the disadvantages of MacBook Air?

The first and most obvious disadvantage of the MacBook Air is its price. Though the current MacBook Air is one of the cheapest MacBooks in the system, it is still quite expensive, costing about $999.

Asides from this, there is the issue of Limited Software Support.

When you compare MacBook Air or any MacBook at all to Windows, it is more difficult to find Apple Macbook software than it is for windows. This is quite disturbing because it makes the MacBook more difficult to use since the software is incompatible with a lot of other technology.

Despite the availability of a few apps versions to support Mac users, the overall user experience is not at all intriguing, especially with apps that don’t have dedicated Mac versions.
