As advancements are made in the world of technology, the need for stable internet connectivity that transcends beyond the world’s sphere is growing. As such, many a company have invested in, brought shares from or have their own satellite designed to serve such needs.

Just like existing providers of satellite internet like HughesNet or Viasat, Starlink is also in the market to provide such much-needed service to the globe. Even though Starlink is only available in some select parts of the US, Canada and the UK, it is gradually making its way around the globe.

What is Starlink used for?

The company Starlink seeks to sell internet access, high-speed broadband for people on earth, and beyond.

The Starlink service now boasts more than 100,000 satellite terminals shipped to customers, and the coverage map continues to grow as more satellites are added into the constellation.

Very soon, Starlink hopes to blanket the entire planet in a usable, high-speed Wi-Fi signal.
