The Android operating system is the most widely used operating system in the entire world followed by IOS. Initially, the goal of Android Inc. when it was first formed in 2003 was to develop an operating system that is very advanced for digital cameras to enable it to determine the user’s preference and location.

They later realized the market for the digital cameras was not that big so they switched to developing an operating system for mobile devices against Symbian and Microsoft at the time. This change of goal gave birth to the Android Operating System. A variety of smartphone brands make use of the Android Operating system such as Samsung, Google Pixel, Itel, Infinix and others.
