What is water lock on Apple Watch?
The water lock feature is used when you are getting your Apple watch wet. This feature locks or turns off the touch on the Apple watch, preventing it from being operated by the water since the touch on it is sensitive to water.
This device comes with an additional component that flushes water out of the watch’s speakers automatically. Once you get out of the water and turn off the water lock, the watch’s speaker vibrates, letting out the remaining water in the system.
To turn on the water lock feature, swipe up the control panel on the device and tap the little water droplet icon to turn on the water lock feature. To turn the water lock off, you have to rotate your digital crown until the water drop icon on the screen grows bigger and eventually explodes.
Always remember to turn on the water lock before getting wet to prevent unintentional operations on your Apple watch.
