Starlink is a satellite network developed by the private spaceflight company SpaceX, aimed at providing low-cost internet to remote locations around the world and beyond.
SpaceX’s satellite internet proposal was officially announced in January 2015. Now, the company is well on its way to have achieved its aim of providing internet access for all.
Despite the massive speed at which Starlink is growing and its successes during its beta trails and now in the world of technology and internet connectivity, Starlink still have bits of setbacks, barring consumers from using it, prominent among them is the price per month.
Since Satellites are not primarily designed to handle the great cell phone data capacity and are basically not capable of providing infrastructure similar to traditional cell towers, or accommodating such heavy data demands, Starlink is by all means not going to replace cell towers.
SpaceX’s satellite which encompasses Starlink is primarily owned by Elon Musk. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
