Kaspersky is a multinational cybersecurity and anti-virus provider in Moscow, Russia. It has its operation based in the United Kingdom. Kaspersky is founded by Eugene Kaspersky, Natalya Kaspersky and Alexey De-Monderik in 1997.

Who owns Kaspersky?

Currently, Eugene Kaspersky is the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO). The company develops antivirus software and also sells it alongside internet security, password management, and other cybersecurity services.

Eugene Kaspersky first developed the software in1989 during the Casacade Virus era. Kaspersky software was shared mostly with friends and family members.

Eugene and Natalya, his wife together with Alexey De-Monderik left their former employer, KAMI where he was an accountant and founded what we have now as Kaspersky.

The company grew worldwide between 2005 to 2010 and now has around 400 million users. Kaspersky has become one of the largest markets in cybersecurity software in Europe.

Currently, Kaspersky also develops internet security, password management and so on. The software offers malware protection, it monitors PC for suspicious program behaviour and warns its users about potentially dangerous websites. Kaspersky has made it possible to include Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Windows Pc, Macs, Blackberry and Symbian versions.

Kaspersky has a dedicated Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Businesses. It mainly offers Administration KitSecurity Center and it manages configuration, installation and remote use. This suite offers quarantine, reporting and other features.

There is also a Kaspersky Small Office Security for 25 staff or less. With this suite, it offers mobile security and fraud protection security.

Kaspersky is ranked as one of the best anti-virus software worldwide.
