Why Do I Have Two Verizon Accounts?

Why-Do-I-Have-Two-Verizon-Accounts?-

There are some reasons you may notice that you have two Verizon accounts. These reasons are briefly discussed below.

First of all, it could be that two or more account numbers show up because you have not tied them to a master account. When you notice two different accounts numbers with one being say a telephone number, and the other being a randomly generated number for DSL on the same line as the telephone, then it most probably means you are getting two different bills for them.

This could be because when the lines were set up, you failed to bundle the lines nor did you package the two accounts into a master account.

As the primary account holder, you can create other sub-accounts for your household. You may even give a sub-account holder administrative access to view the bill or grant them bill pay rights to pay the bill online.

However, this sub-account creation and management are only available to Fios TV customers. Failure to do this results in you having two separate accounts or more for your line.

If that does not resolve this, you need to call or chat with the Verizon customer service line. They will provide support and step by step guides on how to resolve this.
